TRUST Final Conference well attended

Over 70 people from 20 different institutions and various European countries came to the Lichtfabriek in Haarlem in The Netherlands for the TRUST final event. The attractive and varied programme has proven the effort worthwhile. The conference brought together and presented interesting practice examples of spatial planning processes, using case studies. Of course the TRUST projects outcomes, including lessons learned, were presented. The conference focused on three themes: integrated water management, multifunctional use of water and public and stakeholder participation. All data collected during the four years the TRUST programme ran, including the presentations of the final conference, will soon be available on CD. The educational TRUST water game for young water managers will be enclosed.
