On  February 1st the members of the Theme groups I, II and III went to Glasgow in Scotland to visit the GCC project in Ruchill Park.

On site the project leader once more stressed the importance of the project. The TRUST demonstration project is part of a larger plan that will set an example for future projects in Glasgow. The learning process that the partners have experienced in Theme group III with respect to public and stakeholder participation, has supported the success of the redevelopment of Ruchill Park. The projects within the Participation Plan now include supporting the North Glasgow 5K Fun Run, an arts programme focussing on flags with local youth clubs and primary schools, and the restoration and lighting of the flag pole. GCC can be very proud of what they have achieved.
