Match funding: Heritage Lottery Stage 2 application completed

The application to the Heritage Lottery Fund for the restoration of the Canals through Stroud (of which the Trust project is a part) was submitted in October. A key part of the application is The Project Atlas; a public document used for consultation showing what will take place over the project as a whole and why.

This whole document will shortly be available for download on the British Waterways' website: www.britishwaterways.co.uk/cotswolds.

Following the submission, the project was visited by the Heritage Lottery Fund case officer accompanying the Trustee who will make the case for funding at the next Trustees meeting in January. The site visits included the Lawns area and the canal at Dudbridge Locks. A decision from HLF is due on 25th January.
